We’re looking for an Email Marketing Specialist who will oversee all aspects of email marketing campaigns, including market research, content creation, and copy dissemination.

What you can expect from the opportunity

• Produce and execute all email and notification campaigns, including building campaigns from templates, copywriting, asset coordination, QA, and scheduling.
• Support various strategic programs via manual and triggered campaigns across the customer lifecycle, including prospecting, win-back, nurturing, post-purchase, loyalty, retention, surveys, and transactional emails.
• Build effective target audiences and segments for every message to drive engagement and revenue performance against KPI goals.
• Manage and execute email & notification campaigns on the marketing calendar and ensure alignment with business priorities, demand forecasts, and internal stakeholders.
• Devise and execute A/B tests, manage the testing calendar, record results, and advise on improvements to drive performance lift.
• Work with designers and content team to optimize email creative and template structure based on best practices.
• Optimize email and notification frequency between program touchpoints to minimize database churn (including marketing campaigns, triggered emails, promotional emails, and transactional emails) and maximize lead generation
• Provide regular campaign performance reports that track key metrics: opens, clicks, conversions, revenue, revenue lift, unsubscribes, etc.
• Apply email marketing software (e.g., Iterable, Yieldify) and other tools (e.g., Google Analytics) to maximize results

As Weekend Assignment Producer, you work a full-time schedule from Thursday to Sunday. You must plan and organize TV/radio/digital production for the weekend team. 
 
You are responsible for deploying the station’s newsgathering resources to cover regional stories for broadcast across all our platforms on weekends.
 
In this role, you must provide leadership in developing original content. Your solid planning and organization skills are essential to the team’s success. You must also be creative and flexible to stay on top of developing stories. You may be required to deliver radio newscasts. You must be fully familiar with CBC/Radio-Canada’s Journalistic Standards and Practices to ensure a quality product.

I’m looking for an experienced thumbnail designer for my channel. This is a remote project-based contractor role with the possibility of expanding into a more involved position over time. We're completing about one-two thumbnails per week.

CBC News and CBC News Network are looking for an energetic and forward-thinking producer to take on an important editorial role assigned to the program Rosemary Barton Live.  
 
Rosemary Barton Live is CBC News Network’s weekly Sunday political show. It first launched in November 2020 and is already showing strong audience growth as a destination for viewers who want political news and smart discussion about national issues on Sunday Mornings. The two-hour program airs live 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. ET on CBC News Network, and also 11 to 11:30 a.m. on CBC Television.
 
Your role will focus on contributing to Rosemary Barton Live's journalistic impact by chasing and producing interviews with key newsmakers and national figures, as well as supporting the host with major interviews, conventions and special coverage and in her contributions to related programs as CBC’s Chief Political Correspondent, and to support other CBC News programs and platforms in leveraging the content of Rosemary Barton Live.
 
The hours of work will be Wednesday to Friday 9 a.m. to 7 p.m, and Sunday, 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. but are subject to change due to operational  requirements.

Under the direction of the  I-Unit’s Executive Producer, you will be involved in staffing, technical and production issues and choices. You have exceptional organisational skills as the IUnit has many clients, contributors and collaborators at CBC and Radio-Canada.
 
You will keep the Executive Producer informed about the development of stories and any potential editorial, legal or production issues that may have wider implications for the Network.
 
The Senior Producer is a collaborator who will work with other programs and leaders across the CBC to make sure that the journalistic work created by the team is seen and heard on all platforms. At the network level, you will have a keen awareness of the needs, style and audiences of network programs like The National, The World at Six and World Report. You will also seek to support the creation of investigative content in CBC Regions and ensure good information flow with teams everywhere. The Chase Producer is responsible for performing a range of activities as in the creation of a two hour radio program, contributing to the scheduling, coordination and development of each program in coordination with the show host and Director, Talk Programming. Coordinating, scheduling and contacting show guests as well as formulating stimulating topics and show ideas is most important. The qualified candidate must be able to organize a daily two hour show from beginning to end, as well as perform all pre and post-show duties as well as have a well rounded knowledge of World and Canadian news, politics, pop culture, entertainment sports and general information.
