Professional Experience

Trudy Kelly Forsythe is an award-winning journalist with more than three decades of professional writing experience. Her first major assignment was a feature article about moose hunting for a regional outdoor sportsmen magazine. Since then, she has put the power of words to work for her clients in news stories, feature articles, web content, brochure and newsletter copy, radio ads, media releases, speeches, advertorial and book reviews. She is the author of Chip and Crystal Experience Energy, a children's book about the history of energy in New Brunswick that was distributed to every Grade 4 New Brunswick student during the 2016-2017 school year. She is one of 18 contributors to Prose to Go: Tales from a Private List, an anthology published in May, 2011 by Bridgeross. Trudy has worked as a co-editor and editor on a variety of publications including two print books: PWAC Guide to Roughing it in the Market: A Survival Toolkit for the Savvy Writer and Heaven Help Hope: Our Decade Battle With ALS. She is also the editor and co-author of Independent Writers’ Guide to Government Action, an electronic publication written with Tracey Arial for PWAC. As part of her freelance writing and editing business, Trudy operates Cultivating Communications, a communications company serving the agriculture industry, with her business partner Allison Finnamore.
