I help people make sense of the world and their place in it by sifting fact from fiction; shifting narratives; and lifting up people and organizations bringing about positive change. Why? So we can tackle wicked problems and right past wrongs. I have more than 20 years of experience writing and editing copy/content (for print and online) in the private, public, and not-for-profit sectors. I also write articles, essays, poetry, and reviews. My work has appeared in Room Magazine, The Timberline Review, Plenitude, Prairie Fire Online, and The Globe & Mail among other publications. In 2016, I was awarded the CANSCAIP prize for best picture book manuscript. In 2022, my poem, The Forest Calls, was longlisted for the annual Federation of BC Writers poetry prize. I am a member of the Board of Directors for Story Studio, an award-winning charity that inspires youth—from pre-school to high school—to be great storytellers.
