It's important to do the thing you love, and for me that is writing. This is why I’ve been writing and editing articles for newspapers, magazines and websites for more than a decade. Published digitally and in print, my articles have been featured in The National Post, Best Health magazine, the Toronto Star, This magazine and more. Some of my more recent roles include working as the lead UX content strategist at Staples, as a magazine editor for NextHome and as the senior bilingual editor at YellowPages.ca, which involved coaching a wonderful Canada-wide team of freelancers. After our children were born, I began to freelance part-time, which included working on an article about miscarriages for Today’s Parent, researching and writing career-related listicles for CERIC, and writing and editing e-learning content on a variety of topics with Janie Vu. If you’d like to work together, I’d love to learn more! You can reach me at marisabwrites@gmail.com.
