I have been writing and editing professionally for over 30 years. I've worked as a freelance journalist, communications consultant, magazine editor, and book editor. I work across all levels of editing, from developmental and substantive to copy editing and proofreading, and do all types of writing. And I've researched, written, and edited materials on a wide range of topics including but not limited to family, the environment, community arts, education, international education, health, alternative heath, spiritual development, and more. I am seeking a publisher for my first book, a memoir of concussion, and working on my second, a memoir of grey divorce.
I have a Master of Fine Arts degree in Creative Nonfiction Writing from University of King's College, and certificates in Communications, Editing, Publishing, and Digital Marketing. I regularly attend professional development sessions on topics ranging from advanced techniques in copy or stylistic editing, to cross-cultural editing and editing materials by and for Indigenous People.
