Lidice Megla (she/ her/hers) is a Cuban-Canadian poet and translator. Her poetry has been published in anthologies and literature magazines worldwide. Lidice has published several poetry collections in the US, Spain, and the Sea & Cedar, Vancouver Island Regional Library literary magazine. She is a member of the Literary Translators Association of Canada, the Association of Canadian Hispanists, and the Federation of Writers of British Columbia. She lives, learns, and works, in Nanaimo, on the territories of the Snuneymuxw, Sanw-naw-as, and Stzuminus people.
