Kiana holds an Honours Bachelor's of Creative Writing & Publishing from Sheridan College, and has studied in both the United States and Canada. Originally from Kentucky, Kiana moved to Canada in 2019 to pursue her dreams of becoming an author and publisher. After growing up in the foothills of Appalachia, she has a special interest in writing surreal horror set in deep, lonely woodland areas, where the land is old and the gods that roam - even older. She also enjoys writing happier things like romance, and her current work-in-progress is a novel that combines both the horror of the wilderness and the love that can be found in the midst of it.Kiana is chronically ill and a member of the LGBTQ+ community. She lives in the Greater Toronto Area with her partner and their spoiled cat, Spyder. She has worked as an editor and a ghostwriter for a number of companies and clients and is currently volunteering as an indie game tester and copyeditor while looking for full-time employment.
