My background in freelance writing extends to more than 30 years of experience. I have been employed as a reporter for a number of newspapers, largely weeklies, contributing a wide array of stories and articles reflecting all aspects of local community. I completed a certificate in Sustainability Management at University of British Columbia in 2015, and write about climate change and environmental issues. I have worked for a nonprofit arts organization for more than 10 years, generating press releases promoting all genres of the arts, and providing copy for the web, social media and print publications. I am a highly successful grant writer. I am an excellent graphic designer, and have designed, launched and managed numerous websites.
