I have written for heritage and genealogy magazines as well as local neighbourhood publications. I have also researched and written histories of non-profit organizations. I have also written articles for hockey history publications. I have published a book on hockey history and two on RCN journals from World War I and the Roaring Twenties. My series, The Heritage Detective, contains stories about old buildings in the Victoria, BC area and tell about the people who lived and worked in them. The History of Professional Hockey in Victoria was re-released in 2024 on a live national TV broadcast with over 8 million viewers. My latest book is "Victoria HarbourCats, Ten Years and Counting," the story of the baseball team of which I am one of the owners.
I have a Bachelor of Arts with distinction from the University of Victoria. My majors were Art History and Cultural Resource Management. I have taken numerous professional development courses over the past years and keep my education up to date.
