Cathy Donaldson is a former newspaper reporter with 25 years of journalism and communications' experience. In 2018, she was pleased to join the YMCA of Greater Moncton as Director of Communications. Originally from Sydney, N.S., Cathy earned a B.A. from Dalhousie University/University of King’s College and a B.A. in Journalism from King’s before starting a career as a newspaper reporter at the Halifax Herald in 1988. After 20+ years as a journalist, communications consultant, editor, and photographer, she established Cathy Donaldson Communications in 2012, assisting clients in enhancing their reputation on local, regional and national/international levels.
