I am a multiple award-winning freelance storyteller/journalist based in Toronto . I have 22 years of experience as a producer/director in network news and long form, investigative journalism, as well as independent documentary film, podcasting and written word storytelling. I was the co-director of a feature documentary called "Captive", about the trauma experienced by women and girls who were kidnapped by the Nigerian terrorist group Boko Haram. I have worked as a tv, radio and digital storyteller for the last 22 years, first in local and national daily news, the last 13 years in long form network television and independent production.
I graduated from University with a BA in Political Science in 2000, and graduated with a diploma in broadcast journalism from BCIT in 2003.
