I am Ali Mirheydari, the official reporter for Volant Media ( IITV + AITV) in British Columbia, Canada. My journey in journalism began in 2013 when i was eighteen and lived in Iran. I joined Volant Media's news- gathering team while i was refugee in Turkey. Over these years, I have gained substantial experience in the field, overcoming significant challenges that have contributed to my growth as a journalist. Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to work closely with a talented team, producing nearly 100 news packages, short TV documentaries, special interviews, and live programs for Iran International and Afghanistan International televisions. These experiences have refined my skills as a producer, video editor, and reporter, allowing me to cover a diverse array of topics with both depth and accuracy. in September 2023, after resettling in Canada as an endangered human rights defender, with the support of Reporters Without Borders and Protect Defenders Organization, my career took on new dimensions. Now based in British Columbia, I continue to contribute to meaningful journalism, driven by a passion for truth and a commitment to human rights.
