At Mindojo, we’re developing an adaptive education platform used by market-leading test-prep courses such as Bloomberg Exam Prep. Recently we began developing a sophisticated app offering a powerful set of learning games for kids learning English as a Second Language (ESL), targeting ~1B kids world wide. The app is recently out of beta with already 1M+ users (check out Aylee Learns English on Google Play or the App Store).

We are seeking a talented and experienced script writer to join our team and help develop engaging content of various types: short stories, conversation scripts, and more.

We offer a part-time contract role. You can work from wherever you wish and the work schedule is very flexible.

As a freelance journalist writing for Fertility Bridge, you will be responsible for writing one original article per month on various assigned fertility news topics. The rate of pay is fifty cents per word. Each article will be about 500 words in length. The topic will be assigned 1-2 weeks before the article is published.

As a Technical Writer, you will:

• Write, edit, and publish help center articles in line with ChartMogul style guide
• Write UX copy
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to understand new features and create clear documentation for customers
• Update help center articles and API documentation as per feedback from customers and team
• Edit customer support macros, video content scripts, and other learning materials
• Maintain internal process documentation pertaining to the Help UX team

• As a copywriter, you are responsible for creating compelling copy that engages, inspires and converts. 
• You will work closely with our Product Marketing Manager for content marketing strategy 
• You will contribute to developing a wide range of content, including email copies, blog content, articles, landing pages, ads, video content, etc., to help increase conversions from the targeted audience. 
• You will conduct research in the live streaming industry and translate the technical terms into plain language in your writing. 

Our current rate is $75.00 per editorial. Most editorials run between 1,000 and 1,500 words in length, but we’ll never be upset if a really good piece is longer or shorter. Our editorial calendar allows for six (6) articles per month, so don’t be discouraged if we ask you to pitch again a little further down the line.

Sold Short is about inequality. Sometimes that will be about class, wealth, and corporate misdoings. No wonder most people are so mad about politics these days.

But inequality isn’t just about money. It’s about how we go about our daily lives and our intersecting identities. Sold Short stories focus on the social safety net, corporate shenanigans, the labor movement (as a broader political entity as well as in relation to workers), gender, racial justice, feminism, Indian Country and tribal sovereignty, sexuality, wealth inequality, white supremacy, immigration and borders, state violence and the criminal legal system, public goods and privatization schemes, billionaire antics, and general hoarding among the top one percent and their fellow travelers.

Do you love newspapers? Are you passionate about print? Pagemasters North America (PMNA) is seeking part-time (possibly full-time) contract layout/copy editors who can work in a fast-paced news environment. We want someone with a knack for pagination and headline writing, someone who can work fast and produce clean pages. This position can be remote anywhere within Canada, and remote or hybrid from Toronto or Calgary. The contracts will run four to six months.

These editors will be joining a new team, so we expect to have a mix of experience levels. Responsibilities:     

• Generate original stories and other content for all platforms
