Key Responsibilities

• Working closely with host and management to establish clear direction of daily content
• Researching segment topics
• Booking segment guests
• Establishing relationships with media contacts related to the program (political, entertainment, etc.)
• Responsible for creating show ideas and booking talent
• Maintaining a comprehensive understanding of news and social issues that relate to our audience
• Updating content on CJAD800.com and engaging listeners through social media
• Working with host to record other production that is required
• Remaining conversant with all departmental production equipment
