Wondery is hiring for a Freelance Senior Story Editor/Lead Writer for a new weekly narrative show that tells contemporary and historical stories about royals from around the globe. This role will work closely and collaboratively with writers, producers, and hosts. We’re looking for an experienced storyteller who can easily inhabit other people’s points of view, pivot between comedy and tragedy, and find hidden and surprising parallels between today’s headlines and events from the past.

This is a full-time six month contract position with the possibility to extend. We’re looking for someone to start ASAP. Compensation is based on experience and skillset and will be no less than $2,100 per week.
