Dotdash Meredith is looking for a remote editor to update time sensitive evergreen content on PEOPLE. In this role, you will spend approximately four hours each day scanning for news and updating our evergreen content as needed in the CMS. We’re looking for an editor who can work four hours a day, Monday through Friday. Successful candidates will have availability to complete those four hours of work somewhere between the hours of 10AM and 5PM ET. This person must be an impeccable editor as well as a digitally-savvy pop culture and celebrity expert, with knowledge of SEO best practices. We’re looking for a candidate that can quickly adopt PEOPLE’s editorial and style guide, and who is comfortable writing about a range of topics, from celebrity to royals to crime. PEOPLE is a fast-paced newsroom, so speed is essential along with an ability to work independently and deliver clean and accurate work.
