#WritingOpportunity: MIT Technology Review is seeking pitches for an upcoming print issue. The theme is Creativity.
As always, the theme is a loose prompt. We're looking for pitches for longer pieces: narrative features, compelling investigations, essential profiles, and super-sharp essays. This call for pitches is mostly aimed at journalists, but if you're an expert with a strong idea, please don't hesitate to reach out.
Please note that we will likely be getting *a lot* of pitches on AI and creativity. This is not to dissuade you from pitching on that topic if you feel like you have a strong and specific idea. But we would especially welcome pitches on other subjects, ones that interpret the theme in other ways. Perhaps you have a story about a creative solution to a problem. Or about an area that impacts or is impacted by creativity.
The pitch deadline is Wednesday December 4. If you haven't seen it, please review our pitch guide (https://lnkd.in/ghW8vbiT). It includes general pitching advice, word rates, my e-mail address, and other helpful details.
