- It’s your world. We know you have a life. We want to be part of it, but not all of it. At Alludo, we’re serious about empowering people to work when, how, and where they want. Couch? Sweatpants? Cool with us. We believe that happy employees mean happy customers. That’s why we hire amazing people and get out of their way.
Sound good so far? Awesome. Let’s talk more about the role and see if we’re destined to be together.
As an Email Marketing Specialist, you will:
- Create engaging email content, including writing compelling subject lines and persuasive copy.
- Build and optimize nurture email series, continuously improving workflows to maximize engagement and results.
- Conduct A/B testing on subject lines, content, and send times to identify high-performing strategies and improve overall email campaign performance.
- Monitor and analyze key email performance indicators including deliverability, open rates, click-through rates, and conversions with a focus on continual improvement.
- Leverage data and insights to uncover engagement opportunities and build targeted segmentation strategies aligned with customer behavior and lifecycle stage.
- Partner with Sales to develop email cadences for lead follow-up using Salesloft.
What YOU bring to the team:
- 2-4 years' experience within Marketo or a similar MAP.
- Working knowledge of CRM platforms, preferably Salesforce.
- Experience with work management software, Jira preferred.
- Experience with marketing campaign analytics.
- Experience executing B2B campaigns aligned with industry best practices.
- Organizational skills with ability to focus on details while handling a high workload.
- Familiarity with data management concepts, lead scoring, lead nurturing and demand generation reporting

MelEdits, led by longtime editor and writer Melanie Padgett Powers, is expanding its roster of freelance writers for various membership association magazines. Most assignments pay a flat rate of around $1/word.
She’s specifically looking to diversify her pool of freelancers, so if you’re a writer from a marginalized group (person of color, neurodivergent, disabled, etc.), and you know your way around interviews, research, and storytelling — this is your lane.
What she’s looking for:
🔹 B2C Health Care Writers – Can you break down complex health topics for patients or consumers after talking to scientists or clinicians? That’s gold.
🔹 Science Writers – Deep science. Think neuroscience, physiology, cell biology. Can you hold your own in a conversation with a researcher and turn it into a compelling magazine feature for fellow scientists?
🔹 Mental Health Writers – Especially those who write for practitioner audiences. Narrative magazine-style storytelling is key.
🔹 Profile Writers – You know how to turn interviews with scientists and clinicians into rich, narrative-driven profiles — not just regurgitated bios.
