We are looking for a talented scientific writer (PhD) to work with us on manuscripts and proposals in the area of immunology, host -microbiome interactions, immuno-oncology and allergy. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of immunology and be able to write engaging, informative pieces that are both accurate and easy to understand. The Writer will be responsible for researching topics, participating in meetings with team members working on the specific topic, and creating content that is both timely and relevant.

The CBC’s Parliamentary bureau in Ottawa is looking for an energetic and creative senior writer to join the team behind the award-winning show Power & Politics.

You must have the panache and self-confidence to bring our programming to life. You think on your feet, enjoy working in a fast-paced breaking news environment and aspire to inform, entertain and enlighten our audiences.

The writer will shape the on-air voice of Power & Politics. The successful candidate must be able to write clear, concise broadcast copy, while incorporating the show’s personality. While this is primarily a television production job, a comfort level with all media lines is essential.
