Food and grocery site Mashed is looking for enthusiastic, hard-working freelance writers to join our team. Ideal candidates have at least one year of experience writing content for print or the web with a focus on food, cooking, and grocery shopping content similar to Mashed. We are looking for creative individuals who are self-sufficient and versatile. Responsibilities

• Working with a blogTO staff photographer, visit and write about local restaurants, bars, cafes, bakeries and other businesses as applicable.
• Create original content for Instagram stories and other social media platforms to amplify your visits to local restaurants and other businesses.
• Write quick-turnaround, newsy articles about local food, restaurants etc. to supplement your field reporting.
• Contribute other content to blogTO's website and/or social media platforms as applicable.

I’m on the lookout for a talented freelance copywriter to join our team for the next few weeks. This position is fully remote with the possibility of evolving into a full-time role (based on the fit).
