The successful candidate will determine proposal concepts, gather proposal information and develop proposal content.  Your writing skills must follow American Standards for effective writing, in addition to being capable of writing great technical content both eloquently and persuasively. You should have strong communication skills as you will work with various people throughout the proposal process. You must be able to multitask and meet deadlines in the event that you might need to write and manage multiple proposals at once.  You must be extremely flexible to the unpredictable nature of the RFP processes and timing. Candidates should have an understanding of the Federal market and government proposals.

• Write, edit, and maintain user guides, support articles, and other technical documentation  for internal and external audiences
• Work with Product Management and Engineering teams to update existing content/documentation to reflect current status of products. 
• Develop and maintain structured processes, standards and templates to track and share product manuals and other product related material.
• Identify opportunities where additional documentation could benefit internal and external customers 
• Align documentation initiatives and content projects across a global organization
• Support the Marketing team with content adaptation and generation for the company’s marketing efforts
• Support content design and layout to illustrate material

World Relief is seeking a Content Writer intern to join our Content Team this summer. Do you have a knack for storytelling and a keen eye for grammar? The Content Intern will support our team of writers in developing social media copy, writing emails, editing stories from our local offices and more. The Technical Writer’s role is to develop written information about the organization’s computing systems that aid in their development, use, and support. Outputs include will include a range of documents to be read by both technical and non-technical personnel across all departments.
