The Content Producer serves as the liaison between all stages of TikTok creative content production: bringing to life a creative vision that both serves the client’s brand as well as the account’s performance strategy. They should have a comprehensive understanding of direct response paid social creative best practices, video and photography production, copywriting, design, and post production. The Content Producer knows how to interpret a client’s brand and product and translate it into a winning TikTok Video Creative and production roadmap. They are passionate about TikTok and confident in their ability to innovate within the platform.
This role is client-facing meaning the individual should be both a strong communicator and collaborator. The Content Producer knows how to speak to all areas of production, from pre to post, and can effectively communicate creative strategy, production, and how they directly relate to key performance metrics such as CPM, CPA, CTR, Stop Rate, Thumbstob, and ROAS. An important facet to this role is being able to lead both internal and external teams through all creative processes in a way that is coherent and collaborative.
The Content Producer should be confident in the creative ideation process. They are confident in leading with creative brainstorming in order to develop concepts that impress the client and support the creative strategy as a whole. The Content Producer ushers these concepts through the creative pipeline in collaboration with internal and external content creators, and post-production teams. Overseeing the initial vision agreed upon between internal and external teams.
The Creative Producer is comfortable with creating content, but not required. They are able to speak to production set-ups, camera angles, lighting, sound, and are comfortable working with leading talent. It’s also important that this role has an acumen for post production and can comfortably communicate with video editors in order to deliver top quality ads that are aligned with the client’s goals.
