The Stakeholder Communications Officer is a core member of the internal communications team within UTC. You bring a holistic understanding of communications planning and execution, and are capable of overseeing a project from end to end — from developing the plan or brief, to writing compelling content, to presenting the impact report. You are adept at understanding the needs of a diverse range of stakeholders, comfortable providing sound advice on the most effective communications approaches or tactics to achieve their goals, and then helping them follow through. A primary responsibility of the role is editing and producing the Bulletin Brief, the University of Toronto’s highest profile internal publication. An important source of information for faculty, staff, and librarians, the Bulletin Brief is distributed electronically three times a week across all three campuses and delivers intel on institutional priorities, key updates and events to our internal audiences.
