CBC Yukon is looking for an energetic, creative and forward thinking Associate Producer to take on a vital programming role. 

You perform editorial assignments related to the gathering, writing and presentation of program material for all of our media platforms, prioritizing content for audio programs and news.

You participate in the production, direction and/or post-production of a program and/or program segment. 

You should be comfortable with the demands and needs of television, radio and online news production, including responding to the pressures of breaking news situations. 

You should have some experience in field production, and be comfortable chasing and developing enterprise journalism and original research. 

You should be able to generate story ideas independently. 

Guidance and direction are regularly available from one or more producers, but there is latitude for initiative and judgment. There may be opportunities to coordinate the work of others and close cooperation with the program unit is essential.
