With direction from the senior producers, the associate producer will participate in the production, direction and/or post-production of Power & Politics. This may include chasing guests, researching stories, graphics creation and video editing. There is a requirement to develop meaningful stories and contacts.  There is often a requirement to coordinate with the activities of others for the production of this material. Work must adhere to CBC journalistic and/or program policies, practices and standards but initiative and independent judgement are required.
