What you will do...

  • Help grow Roz and Mocha’s digital audio footprint across all platforms.  
  • Help with daily audio production related to the needs of the Roz and Mocha show, including daily promos, podcast producing and audio uploading.
  • Support the Morning Show team with creation and distribution of video content across social media and web.
  • Work collaboratively with the team around creating new podcast ideas, which will help improve Roz and Mocha’s podcast consumption and downloads.
  • Ensuring audio for the syndicated show is delivered error free and with technical precision.
  • Supporting the show deliver all client integrations across digital platforms.
  • Other duties as assigned that support building a greater listener experience and positively develop the Roz & Mocha Show brand.

Reporting to the Senior Producer of Programming, you have sharp editorial skills with clear news instincts and an appetite for daily journalism. You have an understanding of storytelling for multiple formats and can help the team deliver a compelling, informative show that reflects the people of Labrador. 

You are a producer who’s focused on the audience and what they need. You know how to engage new, more diverse and younger audiences familiar with digital and social media conventions and storytelling. You are connected to or have an understanding of indigenous communities and their way of life. 

You personally have a sense of adventure and a love of open sky. You believe in a more modern inclusive approach to journalism and want to experiment to create a dynamic program. 

The successful candidate will lead a 5 person team who is closely connected to the community. The show informs, entertains and speaks to the people of Labrador. Your job is to enhance the connection and grow the audience by reaching underrepresented communities.
